You can show your BioLink page on a domain you own, such as links.yourbrand.com, instead of the zetrr.com/l/ address. Custom domains are switched on for each workspace after a quick review, so you request access first.
1. Request access#
- Open BioLink Settings.
- Under Custom domain, you can note which domain you want to connect.
- Click Request custom domain.
You'll see Request submitted — under review. Once it's approved, the panel lets you connect a domain. If a request isn't approved, you'll see the reason if one was given, and you can click Request again. Questions? Contact us.
2. Connect your domain#
- Under Your domain, type your domain, for example
links.yourbrand.com. - Click Connect.
- Zetrr shows the DNS records to add, with their Type, Name and Value. Use Copy next to each value.
- Add the records at your DNS provider, usually where you bought the domain.
- Come back and click Check status.
DNS changes can take up to a few hours. When everything is ready, the status shows Live. Just after connecting, HTTPS may take a few more minutes to work everywhere.
Subdomain or main domain?#
- A subdomain such as
links.yourbrand.comis easiest: one CNAME record. - If you connect
yourbrand.comorwww.yourbrand.com, Zetrr sets up both, and one redirects to the other. Add both sets of records so people reach you with or without "www".
Good to know#
- You can connect one domain to your page.
- Your page must be published to show on your domain.
- Your zetrr.com/l/ address keeps working too. Copy on My Page still copies that address, so share your domain yourself.
- If the status asks you to verify ownership, add the TXT record Zetrr shows.
- To disconnect, click Remove, then Confirm remove.
