A Smart Link is a short link that tries to open your content in its own app, such as YouTube, Amazon or Spotify, when someone taps it on a phone.
Create the link#
- In your Zetrr dashboard, open Zetrr Opener and go to My Links.
- Make sure Smart Links is selected.
- Under New Smart Link, paste the address into Destination URL. It must start with http:// or https://.
- Zetrr fetches a preview and shows which app it found.
- Click Create Smart Link.
Share it#
The Smart link ready window shows your new link, which looks like zetrr.com/o/ followed by a short code. From here you can:
- Copy link to paste it into your bio, stories, captions or BioLink page.
- Download QR to save its QR code.
- Test link to try it yourself.
- View stats to see its clicks.
Manage your links#
Each link in your list shows its app, clicks and the date you created it. The icons next to it let you:
- Preview link: open it in a new tab.
- Copy: copy the short link.
- View analytics: see clicks for this link.
- Advanced controls: add channels, a custom link or a social preview.
- Show QR code: view and download its QR code.
- Edit destination: send the link somewhere else. The short link stays the same.
- Delete link: delete it for good. The short link stops working.
Give it a memorable name#
- Click Advanced controls next to the link.
- Under Custom link, type 3 to 40 letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores.
- Click Update link.
Your old link and any printed QR codes keep working and lead to the same place.
Control how it looks when shared#
In Advanced controls, under Social preview, set a Title, Description and Image URL, then click Save preview. This is what people see when you share the link on WhatsApp, X or iMessage.
