If you have your own app, an App Link gives you one short link for every device. Opener checks the visitor's device and sends them to the right place.
Create an App Link#
- In Zetrr Opener, go to My Links and choose App Links.
- Add your App name if you like. It's optional.
- Under Apple App Store, paste your App Store destination: the public product page from App Store Connect.
- Under Google Play, paste your Play Store destination: the public listing from Google Play Console.
- Add a Desktop destination if you want computers to go to a website. Leave it empty and they get a QR download page.
- Click Create App Link.
You need at least one of the App Store or Google Play routes. The Live routing map shows where each device will go before you create the link.
No app on one platform?#
Under the store you don't use, switch on Use a web link instead (shown next to Don't have an iOS app? or Don't have an Android app?). Then enter where those visitors should go, such as a sign-up page or your website.
What visitors get#
- iPhone: your App Store page, or your iOS web link.
- Android: your Google Play page, or your Android web link.
- Computer: your desktop destination, or a Zetrr download page with your app's icon and name, store buttons and a QR code that opens the same link on a phone.
Phones go straight to their destination, with no page in between.
Share and track it#
Copy the link, download its QR code and add channels just as you would for a Smart Link. See Make a QR code for a link. In Analytics, App-link destinations shows how many visitors went to each store, web link or desktop page. See See clicks on your links.
Edit destination is only for Smart Links, so check your store and web addresses before you click Create App Link.
Sharing content from another app, like a YouTube video, instead? Use a Smart Link.
