Make a QR code for a link

In short

Every Opener link comes with a QR code. Click Show QR code next to a link and choose Download PNG, or click Download QR right after you create a link. Scans go through the same link, so they count in your analytics.

Updated 1 min read

Every Opener link, Smart Link or App Link, has its own QR code. Use it on posters, packaging, slides or a screen at an event.

Download a QR code#

  1. In Zetrr Opener, go to My Links.
  2. Find the link and click its QR icon (Show QR code).
  3. Click Download PNG. The image is 512 × 512 pixels.

You can also click Copy in the same window to copy the short link.

Right after you create a link, the Smart link ready or App link ready window has a Download QR button too.

What a scan does#

Each scan counts as a click in your link analytics, with its device and country.

Keep printed codes working#

  • To send a Smart Link somewhere new, use Edit destination. The QR code stays the same.
  • If you change the link's name under Custom link, the old link and printed QR codes keep working.
  • Deleting a link stops every QR code made from it.

Paste your BioLink address into a new Smart Link, then download its QR code. See Create a smart link.

Questions

Does an Opener QR code expire?

No. It works for as long as the link exists. Deleting the link stops the QR code working.

Can I change a link without reprinting its QR code?

Yes, for Smart Links. Click Edit destination and enter the new address. The short link and QR code stay the same.
