Keep your Zetrr account secure

In short

Zetrr doesn’t offer two-step sign-in (two-factor authentication) for standard accounts yet. To add a second step today, sign in with Google and turn on 2-Step Verification for your Google account. Use a password of at least 8 characters, and change it if you think someone knows it: that signs out your other devices.

Two-step sign-in#

Two-step sign-in (also called two-factor authentication) isn't available for standard Zetrr accounts yet.

If you sign in with Google, you can protect your Google account with Google's own 2-Step Verification. If your account also has a Zetrr password, keep that password strong as well.

Use a strong password#

Zetrr passwords need at least 8 characters. Use one you don't use anywhere else. To change it:

  1. Open Settings and stay on the General tab.
  2. Open Change password.
  3. Enter your Current password.
  4. Enter a New password, then type it again in Confirm password.
  5. Select Update Password.

Changing your password signs you out on your other devices and browsers. They'll ask you to sign in again with the new password.

Sign out on shared computers#

  1. Select your name at the top right of the dashboard.
  2. Select Sign out.

This signs out only that device. Your phone and other computers stay signed in.

Protect your Instagram connection#

  • Zetrr never asks for your Instagram password. Automation and Giveaways use Instagram's official login.
  • Only give Automation or Giveaways to teammates you trust. Admins get every app automatically.
  • Only the workspace owner can disconnect your Instagram account from Automation or delete its data.

See Roles and per-app access.

Report a security problem#

Email security@zetrr.com with the details. Please don't post security reports publicly before the team has had a chance to fix them.

Questions

I signed up with Google. Do I have a Zetrr password?

No, unless you set one. You can add a password under Settings → General → Set password if you also want to sign in with your email.

Does signing out on one device sign me out everywhere?

No. Signing out only affects the device you’re using. To sign out everywhere else, change your password.
