The Income & expenses page in Zetrr Invoice brings your sales invoices and expenses together, so you can see what came in and what went out.
See your income and expenses by month#
- In Zetrr Invoice, open Income & expenses.
- Under Period, choose By month and pick the Month. You can also choose This quarter, This calendar year, This financial year (Apr–Mar) or All time.
- Under Currency, choose the currency to show.
Each currency is shown on its own. Zetrr never combines or converts currencies, so switch the currency to see invoices in USD or another currency.
What the numbers mean#
- Money received: payments recorded on your sales invoices, including tax.
- Money spent: payments you recorded on expenses in this period.
- Net cash flow: money received minus money spent, including tax.
- Sales invoiced and Purchases recorded: what you billed and what you bought in the period.
- Clients still owe and Expenses still unpaid: what's outstanding on each side.
A payment counts in the month you marked the invoice as paid, not the month you issued it. Cancelled invoices and voided expenses count as zero.
Monthly chart and spending#
Monthly cash flow charts Received, Spent and Net cash month by month. Open View monthly amounts for the exact figures.
Where you spent breaks your purchases down by category, including unpaid bills. You'll also see GST on purchase bills, GST marked “Needs review” and Equipment / capital purchases.
Download the summary#
Click Export CSV to download the summary for the period and currency you've chosen. It's useful for your own records or to share with your accountant.
To keep these numbers right, mark invoices as paid when money arrives and record your expenses as you pay them.
