Zetrr Invoice
Make GST invoices, save clients and services, record payments and expenses, and see what you earned.
Get started
- Set up your business detailsOpen Zetrr Invoice, go to Settings, enter your business name and the details you want on your invoices, then click Complete Setup. You need to do this once before your first invoice. Your business details are private to you: teammates never see your bank or tax details.
- Create an invoice in Zetrr InvoiceTo create an invoice, click Create new, then Create invoice. Pick or add the client under Bill To, describe what you did with a quantity and rate, add GST or a discount if needed, and check the live preview. Your invoice saves as you work and gets its number when you first download or share it.
- How GST works on your invoicesZetrr Invoice calculates GST at one rate on the invoice’s taxable value, which is the subtotal minus any discount. It splits GST into CGST and SGST when your state and the client’s state match, and charges IGST when they differ. You can apply GST only after saving your GSTIN in Settings.
Everyday use
- Save clients and servicesSave a client once under Clients, then pick them on any invoice by typing their name in Bill To. Save the services you bill often under Saved Items, with a rate, quantity, unit and HSN/SAC code, and choose them as you type a line item. Both are shared with teammates who have Invoice access.
- Share an invoice as a link or PDFIn the invoice editor, click Generate Public Link to create a private link and copy it, or use the Download PDF button to save a PDF. Then send it to your client yourself, because Zetrr doesn’t email invoices. Sharing or downloading a draft gives it its invoice number.
- Mark an invoice as paidClick the invoice’s status badge and choose Mark as paid. Zetrr records the full invoice amount as received, sets the balance to zero and adds today’s payment date. Recording a payment doesn’t move money: you collect it by bank transfer, UPI or however you agreed with your client.
- Record your expensesClick Record expense, enter the seller, their invoice number and date, what you bought and the total on the bill, then click Save expense. You can note the GST already included in the bill and attach a private copy. It’s your record of the seller’s bill: Zetrr doesn’t claim input tax credit for you.
- Invoice numbers and financial yearsZetrr numbers invoices for you, starting at ZI-0001. A draft gets its number the first time you download it, share its link or mark it Sent or Paid, and a number is never used twice. Workspace owners and admins can change the prefix, add the financial year and set the next number in Settings.
- Choose an invoice designChoose one of five invoice themes, Classic, Executive, Editorial, Aurora or Ledger, from the Invoice theme card at the top of the editor. A theme changes only the look of that invoice. Your details and number stay the same, and the PDF and the client’s link use the same design.
- See what you earned by monthOpen Income & expenses in Zetrr Invoice to see money received, money spent and net cash flow for a month, a quarter, a calendar year, the financial year or all time, in one currency at a time. A monthly chart shows the trend, and Export CSV downloads the summary.
