Add an image on the web#
- Open a card.
- Click into Script or Shoot Notes where you want the picture.
- Click Add image in the editor toolbar and choose a file.
- Wait for the image to finish uploading before you close the card.
You can also drag an image into the text, or paste one.
What you can upload#
- PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, HEIC/HEIF and AVIF files. GIFs stay animated.
- Photos up to 40 MB. Planner shrinks large pictures before they're stored.
- Up to 50 images per card.
Planner removes hidden details from every picture, including location (GPS) data.
Show, open or remove an image#
Click Image options (the ⋮ on the image) and choose:
- Open image to see it full size.
- Show as attachment to shrink it to a one-line attachment, or Show full image to show it in the text again.
- Remove image to take it out of the script or notes.
In the apps#
- Mac: add an image with the editor's image button, by dropping one from Finder, or by pasting it. Add one image at a time.
- iPhone, iPad and Android: the latest versions of the apps add images from your photos (and from Files on iPhone and iPad) and show them in the text. If you don't see images or the option to add one, update the app, or use Planner on the web.
To remove an image, use Planner on the web.
You need edit access to Planner to add or remove images. See Use the content board and its stages for everything else a card holds.
