Widgets on iPhone and iPad#
- Today's Tasks: today's list with a progress ring. Tap a circle to tick a task off without opening the app.
- Countdown: counts down to a task. Pick a task, or leave it empty to always show what's due next.
- Flip Countdown: a split-flap countdown to a task. You choose which units it shows.
- Board: your active board's pipeline at a glance.
- Saved: how many ideas are waiting in Saved, with recent titles.
To add one:
- Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen.
- Tap Edit, then Add Widget.
- Search for Zetrr Planner and choose a widget.
To pick a countdown's task or units, touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget.
Widgets on Mac#
- Today's Tasks: complete a task with one click, without opening the app.
- Board Glance: your active board's cards, counted by stage.
- Quick Add: one click opens the app ready to add a task for today.
To add one, Control-click the desktop, choose Edit Widgets, and search for Zetrr Planner.
The Mac menu bar#
The Zetrr Planner icon in the menu bar shows today's tasks with checkboxes, a box to add a task for today, and a glance at your board. If you're signed out, it shows Sign in.
If a widget looks empty or out of date#
- Open the Zetrr Planner app and sign in. Widgets use the app's sign-in.
- Widgets update when the app refreshes, so open the app after making changes on another device.
- Ticking a task in a widget syncs to your other devices.
Android#
The Android app has no widgets yet. Touch and hold the app icon for the New idea and New task shortcuts instead. See Planner on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android for what each app can do.
