Use the content board and its stages

In short

Your board shows a card for each piece of content, in a column for each stage of production. Add a card with New Card or the + at the top of a column, drag it between stages as the work moves on, and click Published when it's done to move it to the Archive.

The board at a glance#

Every board starts with five stages: Idea, Scripting, Script Done, In Production and In Editing. You can rename, hide and add stages; see Add and rename board stages. Click Board overview for quick counts: total cards, cards in progress, cards ready to publish, overdue cards and the change this week.

Add a card#

  • Click New Card (or press N) to open Quick idea. The card goes into your first stage.
  • Or click the + at the top of a column, type a title and click Add card to put it straight into that stage.

Either way you choose the Platform and Priority as you add it. To change the platform and format new cards start with, go to Settings → New Card Defaults.

Fill in a card#

Click a card to open it. Use the full-screen button for more room. A card holds:

  • Status, Platform, Format, Priority and Due Date.
  • Types, for production types such as Tutorial or Review, and Tags, the same tags you use in Saved.
  • Script and Shoot Notes, Voice notes, a Caption and Hashtags (Copy post copies both), Reference Links and an Activity log.

Everything saves as you type.

Move cards along#

Drag a card to another column, or change its Status inside the card. Cards past their due date are marked Overdue.

Finish or archive a card#

  • On a card in your last stage, click Published. The card moves to the Archive and counts as published.
  • On a card in any other stage, the same button in the card reads Archive.
  • Click Archive above the board to search old cards, restore one to the board, or delete it for good.

Table view and more boards#

  • To see cards as rows, go to Settings → Board View and choose Table. Table view lets you search by title and filter by status and platform.
  • Use the board picker to switch boards, the pencil to rename one, and New Board to add one, for example one per client or series.
  • To delete a board, open the ⋮ menu and choose Delete board. You always keep at least one board, and deleting a board also deletes its cards, scripts, notes and chat.
