The Zetrr Planner Capture extension saves the page you're on into Saved: its link and title, a note (any text you've selected is filled in for you), the platform, tags, a screenshot of the page and, in Chrome, a voice note.
1. Install the extension#
For Chrome, add Zetrr Planner Capture from the Chrome Web Store. It also works in other Chromium-based browsers. On a Mac, the Safari version of the extension has the same form, without voice notes.
2. Create a capture token#
- In Planner on the web, open Settings.
- Scroll to Capture Tokens.
- Type a name for the token, such as the computer and browser you'll use it in.
- Click Generate.
- Copy the token straight away. It's shown in full only once.
3. Connect the extension#
- Click the extension's icon in your browser's toolbar.
- Paste the token into Capture Token.
- Click Connect.
4. Save a page#
- On the page you want to keep, click the extension's icon, or press Alt+Z (⌥Z on a Mac).
- Check the Title, and add a Note, Platform and Tags if you like.
- Click Screenshot to attach a picture of the page, or Voice to record a voice note (Chrome only). The first time you record, Chrome asks for microphone access.
- Click Save to Planner, or press ⌘ + Enter (Ctrl + Enter on Windows).
When you see Idea saved!, click Open Saved to see it, or Save another. You can also close the popup straight away: the save finishes in the background, and if it fails, the extension shows the error the next time you open it.
Turn ideas into cards#
In Saved, open an idea and click Add to Planner to turn it into a card on your board. Saving from your phone instead? See Save ideas from any app on your phone.
