Brands, agencies and other creators reach out in your DMs, and on a busy day those messages sink under fan replies. Collabs keeps your brand deal enquiries in their own list.
What Collabs shows#
Open Collabs in the Automation menu. Each enquiry shows the sender’s username and name, their follower count, a verified badge, whether they follow you, the message, when it arrived, and the phrases that marked it as an enquiry.
The tabs are Pending, Reached out and Hidden. The cards show Pending inquiries, People waiting, Reached out and New this week.
Work through your enquiries#
- Open the Pending tab.
- Select an enquiry to read it in full.
- Select Open in Instagram to jump to the conversation, or Copy handle.
- Reply to them in Instagram.
- Back in Collabs, select I’ve reached out. Every pending message from that person moves to Reached out, your record of who you’ve spoken to. Changed your mind? Select Move back to Pending.
- If a message isn’t a collab, select Not a collab to hide it. You’ll find it under Hidden.
Messages in Hidden can be deleted by the workspace owner, an admin, or a manager who can edit Automation.
Why it doesn’t reply for you#
Brand messages usually need a personal answer, often days later. Instagram only lets apps reply within 24 hours of a message, so replies happen in Instagram, where you can answer at any time.
Where enquiries come from#
New DMs are checked as they arrive. When you first connect, Zetrr also checks your recent conversations, and it looks for new ones each time you open the tab (at most every 30 minutes), or when you select Refresh.
Instagram only returns the most recent messages of each conversation, and leaves out message requests that have been quiet for 30 days. So older enquiries may be missing, and the tab says its results are partial.
What’s kept#
Only messages that read like an enquiry are kept in Collabs. They stay for 12 months, or until you delete them. Every other DM is left out, and what it says is deleted from Zetrr within 24 hours. Disconnecting Instagram clears the Collabs inbox.
Zetrr sends you a notification when new enquiries arrive, at most once an hour.
When the deal is done, you can bill the brand with Zetrr Invoice.
