Before you start#
Make sure your Instagram account is a Creator or Business account, and that you’re signed in to that account in the browser you’re using. See Which Instagram accounts work with Automation?
Connect Instagram#
- Sign in to Zetrr and open Zetrr Automation from your dashboard.
- On the Connect your Instagram screen, select Continue with Instagram.
- On Instagram’s login page, sign in, or continue as the account Instagram shows.
- Allow the permissions Zetrr asks for.
- Wait while Instagram sends you back to Zetrr. You’ll see Connect, Securing and You’re in as it finishes.
Once you’re in, Zetrr offers two ready-made starts under Let’s set up your first automation. Pick one, or select I’ll explore on my own. To build one step by step, see Create a comment-to-DM automation.
Check that it worked#
Open Settings in Automation:
- Connected Account shows your @username, Connected on and Renews on.
- Webhook Connection shows Connected, which means Zetrr is receiving your comments and messages from Instagram as they happen.
If it doesn’t connect#
Zetrr tells you what went wrong. The most common messages:
- “Instagram sign-in was cancelled or denied.” Start again and allow the permissions.
- “No Instagram professional account was found on that login.” Switch to a Creator or Business account, then retry.
- “The connection link expired.” Start again from Continue with Instagram.
- “Only the workspace owner can connect a different account.” Ask the owner, or log the workspace’s own account back in.
